Alicyn Mitcham Killed in Ski Accident in Winter Park, CO

Winter Park, CO -- A skiing incident in the area of Winter Park, CO took the life of 17-year-old Alicyn Mitcham Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. at Winter Park Resort.

The details of the incident are unclear, but the report claims Ms. Micham crashed into a tree on the intermediate trail. It is claimed the victim was transported to a hospital emergency room, but she could not be saved. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes. Officials have yet to determine exactly what caused the incident.
