4 Injured in Crawford, TX, Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 6

Crawford, TX -- February 13, 2017, four people were injured, two seriously, following an accident where multiple vehicles crashed on Highway 6.

Texas DPS officials state that the incident occurred east of Crawford along State Highway 6 at around 8:00 a.m.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Dodge Durango was attempting to make a left turn onto Hill Top Lane. Shortly afterward, a Chevy pickup crashed into the back of the Durango, forcing it into oncoming traffic. The Durango crashed with and eastbound Cadillac as well as a Dodge Journey.

Following the incident, a 44-year-old in the Chevy was critically injured and had to be flown to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center. The driver of the Durango also had serious injuries, but his condition was stable. Authorities reported that two other people were treated for minor injuries following the crash.

Authorities did not say if any charges or citations have been filed. Investigations are still ongoing.
