Richard Douglas Robinson Killed in Accident in Bay County, FL

Bay County, FL -- A work incident in the area of Bay County, FL left 59-year-old Richard Douglas Robinson Thursday, February 16, 2017.

The incident took place on 4th Street around 2:30 p.m.

The report claims Mr. Robinson was part of a Bay County Road and Bridges crew doing maintenance on 4th. It appears the man was walking along the shoulder when he was struck and run over by a reversing dump truck. Mr. Robinson was transported to a local hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the incident has not been determined.

Local officials are currently conducting the investigation into the incident.
