College Station emergency response teams were called out to the intersection of Southwest Parkway and Texas Avenue in the early evening hours of Sunday.

Their preliminary investigations indicate that a pickup was traveling through the intersection as a motorcycle was doing the same. Reports say the pickup failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle, and it crashed into the motorbike. The rider was ejected onto the roadway.
