One Killed in Phoenix, AZ Accident at Jefferson Street

Phoenix, AZ -- A crash between an SUV and a parked tractor-trailer took the life of an unidentified man Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

The incident took place on Jefferson Street around 5:45 a.m.

It looks like the incident occurred as the SUV was attempting to pass a slow truck. The report claims the SUV, in the pass attempt, slammed into a detached flat-bed trailer parked along the south curb. The driver of the SUV was killed at the scene of the incident. Further information, including the identity of the deceased driver, was unavailable at the time of the report.

The official cause of the incident remains under investigation.
