One Killed in School Bus Accident on Missouri 291 in Northland, MO

Northland, MO -- One unidentified person was killed due to a collision between a bus and a passenger vehicle in the area of Northland, MO Thursday, February 16, 2017.

The crash happened on Missouri 291 around 4:30 p.m.

The details of the incident are sparse, but police officials say the crash involved a passenger car and a school bus. The Wellington-Napoleon R-IX School District bus was headed to a basketball game when it collided head-on with the car. The driver of the car was killed in the collision. The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

At the time of the report, officials had not yet determined what occurred.
