Jose Trevino Killed in Laredo, TX, Car Accident

Laredo, TX -- February 16, 2017, Jose Trevino was killed, another was injured, following an accident where two vehicle crashed head-on.

According to the Laredo Police Department, the two-vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of Shiloh Drive and Loop 20 at around midnight.

Preliminary police reports indicate that 17-year-old Trevino was traveling through the intersection as another vehicle was traveling in the opposite direction. Somehow, the two vehicles crossed paths with one another, resulting in a head-on collision.

Emergency medical officials report that Trevino's injuries were fatal, and he died at the scene. The other driver suffered unspecified injuries, for which they were transported to a hospital in San Antonio.

At this time, the cause of the accident is still under investigation. No further details are available.
