Motorcyclist Killed in Arlington, TX, 18-wheeler Accident on Mayfield

Arlington, TX -- February 15, 2017, a motorcyclist was killed following an accident where the motorcycle and an 18-wheeler collided on Mayfield Road.

Emergency crews and Arlington Police officials were called to the intersection of Mayfield Road and Judy Lynn Drive at around 4:30 p.m.

According to preliminary investigations, officials have only stated that a motorcyclist was traveling through the intersection and collided with an 18-wheeler. It's unclear which vehicle was on which road or who had the right of way at the time.

As a result of the collision, the unidentified motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries. No additional injuries were reported.

Police say that the accident remains under investigation and are withholding additional details for the time being.
