John Stock Killed in Accident in Clearwater County, MN

Clearwater County, MN -- An incident involving a snowmobile left 59-year-old John Stock dead in the area of Clearwater County, MN Sunday, February 12, 2017.

The incident took place near McKenzie Lake Road about 1 p.m.

Officials say the man was operating the snowmobile when for reasons unknown, the incident occurred. When emergency crews arrived, they found Mr. Stock dead. His exact cause of death has not been determined. The report made no mention of other injuries related to the incident.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
