Two Injured in Accident in Salt Lake City, UT at Highland and Falcon Drives

Salt Lake City, UT -- A two-vehicle collision left two people with injuries, including a 7-year-old boy, in the area of Salt Lake City, UT Friday, February 10, 2017.

The incident took place at Highland and Falcon Drives.

It appears the vehicle occupied by the victims was struck by a second vehicle. The injured occupants were transported to a local hospital. Their identities remain unknown, but police say the boy was last listed in critical condition.

The exact cause of the collision has not been determined, but officials say they believe excessive speed may have been a factor.
