Fernando Garcia Killed in Houston, TX, Tanker Accident

Houston, TX -- November 17, 2016, Fernando Garcia was killed following an accident where he sustained fatal injuries while working in a tanker.

Officials from OSHA released a report on the fatal incident. Garcia, an employee of Express Container Services, appeared to be doing maintenance work just down the road at Andrews Transport LP.

The report indicates that Garcia was inside a tanker trailer at the time. It's unclear exactly what he was doing. Somehow, he asphyxiated while in the tanker and sustained fatal injuries. It's unclear if he died at the scene or at a hospital.

Right now, details surrounding the incident are scarce. It's unclear exactly how the accident happened or what caused the asphyxiation. No additional details have been released at this time.
