Katie Musick Killed in Accident in Mt. Lebanon, PA

Mt. Lebanon, PA -- A pedestrian vs. vehicle incident took the life of 40-year-old Katie Musick Friday, February 10, 2017 in the area of Mt. Lebanon, PA.

The incident took place on Interstate 79 about 7 p.m.

It appears the victim, Ms. Musick, was attempting to cross the interstate when she was struck by the vehicle. The report claims the woman had initially crashed her vehicle, and upon exiting, she was hit near the Kirwan Heights ramp. The exact cause of the incident is unclear.

According to the report, the woman died from blunt force injuries to the head.

The official investigation is currently underway, and police hope to determine the cause as it concludes.

The preliminary press release provided no further information.
