Cody James Sayer Killed in Accident in Hood County, TX

Hood County, TX -- A crash in the area of Hood County, TX on Contrary Creek Road took the life of 26-year-old Cody James Sayer Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

The incident took place in the Contrary Creek about 4:30 a.m.

Though the details of the crash are unclear, police say the man's vehicle ended up in the creek. Deputies arrived to find the wreckage, eventually locating the body of Mr. Sayer. It is unclear at this time how many vehicles were involved.

The report made no mention of other victims in the incident.

The official investigation is currently underway.

The preliminary press release provided no further information at the time of its release.
