Man Killed, One Hurt near 3399 East Loop North in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- A two-vehicle collision took the life of an unidentified 26-year-old man in the area of Houston, TX Saturday, February 11, 2017.

The incident happened near 3399 East Loop North.

Police officials say a Mitsubishi Galant was headed east on Market Street. At some point, the passenger car was struck on its passenger side by an oncoming semi-truck. One person, the 26-year-old passenger in the Mitsubishi, was killed in the incident. The driver of the car was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

The cause of the collision has not been determined.

The official investigation is currently underway.
