Azlyan Dalbo Killed, Ryan Owen & Chantal Reed Injured in Accident in Buncombe County, NC

Buncombe County, NC -- An alcohol related crash in the area of Buncombe County, NC Sunday, February 12, 2017 took the life of Azlyan Dalbo & left Ryan Owen and Chantal Reed with injuries Sunday, February 12, 2017.

The incident took place on Ben Lippen Road about 2 a.m.

It looks like the vehicle containing the victims was headed northwest when it veered off the roadway. The Jeep Liberty driven by Ryan Owen collided with a tree, overturning. The report claims Ms. Dalbo, 18, was killed at the scene of the incident. Mr. Owen and 18-year-old Chantal Reed, a passenger in the vehicle, were both left with minor injuries.

The exact cause of the crash is unclear, but police say they believe alcohol was a factor.

The investigation into the deadly incident is currently underway.
