One Injured in Accident in Lubbock, TX Accident on US 84

Lubbock, TX -- A crash in the area of Lubbock, TX left one unidentified person with injuries on US 84 Monday, February 13, 2017.

The incident took place about 7 a.m.

It appears a semi-truck was turning left at the FM crossover when the incident took place. At some point, an SUV occupied by the injured victim collided with the truck. The injured driver of the SUV, an unidentified 24-year-old, was taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the truck was uninjured in the crash.

The official investigation into the incident is currently underway.

The report, due to the immediacy of the incident, provided no further information regarding the collision.
