Man Injured in Harris Co, TX, Accident Falling from Motel Balcony

Harris County, TX -- February 11, 2017, a man was seriously injured following an accident where he fell from a motel balcony while possibly intoxicated.

Harris County Sheriff's Deputies say that around 7:00 p.m., they were called to the InTown Suites Motel located at 4210 Cypress Creek Parkway.

They say that when they arrived, a man, reportedly unrelated to the original emergency call, was on his third floor balcony. Deputies say the man appeared to be intoxicated. For reasons unclear, he lost balance and fell over the railing of the balcony to the parking lot below.

The man sustained critical injuries from the fall, and EMS were called to the scene. They transported the man via helicopter to Memorial Hermann for treatment.

Specific details are currently unavailable, and there has been no confirmation that the man was intoxicated. Investigations are ongoing at this time.
