Man Killed, One Hurt in Accident on Trammel Fresno Road in Fresno, TX

Fresno, TX -- A two-vehicle head-on collision claimed the life of one person and left one with injuries in the area of Fresno, TX Saturday, February 11, 2017.

The crash happened at Trammel Fresno Road and Illinois Street about 11:15 p.m.

It appears the a Toyota pickup was eastbound on Trammel when it collided with a westbound Kia. The driver of the truck, a man in his 50's, was killed at the scene of the incident. A female victim in the Kia was taken to a nearby hospital; she was last listed in serious condition. The cause of the incident had yet to be determined at the time of the report.

There was no mention of other injuries in the collision.

The preliminary media report provided no further information at the time of its release.
