Teen Killed in Accident on Victory Highway in Exeter, RI

Exeter, RI -- A vehicle vs. pedestrian collision in the area of Exeter, RI claimed the life of an unidentified 17-year-old West Warwick resident.

The incident took place on Victory Highway, according to the report.

It looks like the victim's vehicle was traveling along Route 102 when for reasons unknown it veered off the roadway. The report claims the vehicle then collided with a tree, rolling over. The driver of the vehicle, the unidentified teen, was killed at the scene of the incident. The report made no mention of other injuries in the collision.

Authorities are examining the details of the crash in the hopes of determining a cause.

The report provided no further information at the time of its release.
