Thad Akins Killed in Accident in Spanish Fort, AL

Spanish Fort, AL -- A collision between an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of 43-year-old Thad Akins in the area of Spanish Fort, AL.

The collision took place on Interstate 65.

The report claims the semi-truck slowed down on 65 close to Fort Deposit. This led to the collision between Mr. Akins's vehicle and the tractor-trailer. The exact cause of the incident has not been established. There was no indication of other injuries related to the incident.
