One Injured in El Paso, TX, Car Accident on North Mesa Street

El Paso, TX -- February 9, 2017, one person sustained injuries following an accident where two vehicles crashed on North Mesa Street.

El Paso emergency crews responded to the accident scene at around 7:00 p.m. outside of Coronado High School. The crash happened near the intersection of North Mesa Street and Champions Place.

According to preliminary police reports, the collision involved two vehicles. Exact details surrounding the collision have yet to be specified. As a result of the collision, at least one person involved sustained critical injuries.

Emergency medical teams transported the injured person from the scene to a local hospital for treatment. No additional injuries were reported.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Factors such as speeding and alcohol have not been suggested.

Investigations are ongoing.
