One Injured in Woodstown, NJ, 18-wheeler Accident on East Avenue

Woodstown, NJ -- February 2, 2017, one person was injured as the result of an accident between a pickup and an 18-wheeler on East Avenue.

Woodstown authorities say the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. just outside Woodstown High School.

According to preliminary reports, the two vehicles somehow crossed paths with one another going down East Avenue. This led to a collision between them. Right now, police haven't elaborated on what exactly occurred.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the pickup sustained multiple injuries. EMS transported that person to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their exact condition was not specified.

No particular charges or citations have been reported at this time. The cause of the crash is unclear.

Police say investigations are ongoing.
