Motorcyclist Injured in Missouri City, TX, Accident on Texas Parkway

Missouri City, TX -- February 8, 2017, a person sustained injuries following an accident where a motorcycle and an SUV crashed on Texas Parkway.

Missouri City Police were called out to the scene of the accident in the nighttime hours of Wednesday. It occurred at the intersection of Texas Parkway and Independence Boulevard.

At this time, the details surrounding the accident are unclear. Reports say that a motorcycle and an SUV somehow crossed paths with each other and collided, ejecting the rider onto the roadway.

Reports say the motorcyclist was taken to Memorial Hermann via helicopter, but their condition was not further specified. The driver of the SUV was not injured.

Authorities have not reported any additional details surrounding the accident.
