Sabrina Stevens, Charles Franklin Injured in Tyler County, TX, Accident

Tyler County, TX -- February 8, 2017, Sabrina Stevens and Charles Franklin was injured following an accident in which his vehicle crashed off-road.

Between the towns of Colmesneil and Woodville, at around 7:00 a.m., 26-year-old Franklin and 33-year-old Stevens were traveling southbound on US Highway 69 in a Ford car. For reasons that are not entirely clear, the vehicle lost control and ran off the side of the highway. As a result, it slid and began to flip over several times before eventually coming to a stop.

Emergency services came out to the scene and called in a helicopter to transport Stevens to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Her injuries were said to be serious. Franklin had non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital.

Authorities have yet to determine what caused the crash. No further information is currently available.
