Judith Permar Killed in Accident in Mount Carmel Twp., PA

Mount Carmel Township, PA -- An incident at a clothes donation box took the life of 56-year-old Judith Permar in the area of Mount Carmel Twp. PA Sunday, February 5, 2017.

The report claims Ms. Permar was standing on a stool, dropping donations into the box when the stool collapsed. The woman's arm was trapped in the bin, leaving her stranded in the cold. Ms. Permar died overnight, and the coroner's office determined the cause was blunt force trauma and possible hypothermia.

The exact cause of the incident is unclear.

Officials are currently examining the details of the incident.
