Woman Killed on Interstate 5 in Stockton, CA Alleged DUI Accident

Stockton, CA -- A single-vehicle rollover crash in the area of Stockton, CA took the life of an unidentified 46-year-old woman Sunday, February 5, 2017.

It appears the vehicle occupied by the victim was northbound on Interstate 5 about 12:30 a.m. when the incident took place. The vehicle allegedly careened right, veering off the roadway. The Jeep then struck a guardrail, flipped over, landing on its wheels. The report claims the female victim was thrown from the vehicle when it flipped over. The victim, whose name has not been revealed, was taken to a nearby hospital. She later succumbed to her injuries.

The report made no mention of other injuries related to the crash.

The cause of the incident is unclear, but police say they believe alcohol was a factor.

The driver of the vehicle, 43-year-old Albert Julian Flores, has since been charged in relation to the incident.

The official investigation is currently underway.
