One Hurt in Truck Accident at Gulf Freeway & Clear Lake City Boulevard in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- The unidentified occupant of a pickup truck was left with injuries in a collision with an 18-wheeler Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Houston, TX.

The semi-truck was reportedly traveling along the Gulf Freeway near Lake City Boulevard about 2 a.m. The truck for reasons unknown veered out of control, colliding with a pickup halted in the emergency lane. Officials with the Houston Police Department say the pickup driver, whose name had not been disclosed, was left with minor injuries. The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

The cause of the collision has not been determined.

The investigation into the crash is currently underway and authorities hope to determine a cause as it concludes.
