Man Injured in Corpus Christi, TX, Pedestrian Accident on Flour Bluff

Corpus Christi, TX -- February 6, 2017, an older man was injured after an accident where he was struck by a vehicle while crossing Flour Bluff Drive.

Corpus Christi Police officers responded to the 1200 block of Flour Bluff Drive, just outside the Walmart, at around 7:15 p.m.

Their preliminary investigations indicate that a man, said to be in his sixties, was trying to cross the road using a walker. An oncoming vehicle did not see the man in time, and it struck him in the roadway.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported to man to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was said to be critical.

Authorities did not issue any citations following the accident. At this time, they have not reported any additional information.
