1 Injured in Dallas, TX, Car Accident on Ferguson Road

Dallas, TX -- February 6, 2017, one person was seriously injured due to an accident in which two vehicles collided on Ferguson Road.

Dallas emergency personnel responded to the two-vehicle accident scene at around 8:45 p.m. The accident took place near the intersection of Ferguson Road and I-30.

Initial reports indicate that a Ford Crown Victoria was driving northbound on Ferguson. It attempted to turn into an apartment complex parking lot, entering the path of a southbound Dodge Charger. The Charger crashed into the side of the Crown Vic as a result.

The driver of the Crown Vic was ejected in the crash. That person was transported to a hospital in critical condition. It would appear no other injuries occurred.

Authorities claim that the driver of the Ford failed to yield the right of way to the Dodge. They have not mentioned any other factors involved in the accident.
