Larry Garcia Killed in Lubbock, TX, Single-Vehicle Accident

Lubbock, TX -- February 6, 2017, Larry Garcia was killed following an accident where his vehicle lost control and crashed off-road.

Lubbock County Officials investigated the fatal crash at around 4:00 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 87 and 194th Street.

Their preliminary reports indicate that at some point in the early morning hours of Monday, 34-year-old Garcia was traveling down Highway 87 in his Chevy Camaro. As he did so, the vehicle somehow lost control and swerved off the road. The vehicle overturned repeatedly before coming to a stop.

A passerby noticed the vehicle hours later and called emergency services. Upon arrival, they examined Garcia and ultimately pronounced him dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet determined an exact cause for the accident. They have not released any additional details regarding the crash at this time.
