2 Injured in Waco, TX, Loose Load Accident on West Waco Drive
Waco, TX -- February 3, 2017, two people were injured as the result of an accident where a pickup lost its load and caused a crash on Waco Drive.
The accident took place around 8:15 p.m. near the West Waco Drive bridge at Brazos River. Authorities say at least three vehicles were involved in the crash.
A pickup was driving westbound on Waco Drive when it somehow lost the load it was carrying. The truck slammed on its brakes, and three other vehicles behind it crashed as a result.
Police say that two people were transported from the scene with minor injuries. It's not clear from which vehicles they came.
Authorities did not indicate whether or not any charges or citations were filed following the crash. At this time, no further information has been reported.
