Cyclist Injured in Accident with Train Near NRG Stadium in Houston, TX
Houston, TX -- A collision between a train and a cyclist left an unidentified man injured in the area of Houston, TX Sunday, January 5, 2017.
The incident took place on Loop 610 near NRG Stadium about 6 p.m.
It appears the cyclist was headed west on 610 when he turned left into the path of the oncoming train. The man, whose identity had not been disclosed, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.
The report claims the incident left service halted for 22 minutes.
