Man Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on West Gulf Bank Road Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- A single-vehicle crash in the area of Houston, TX left one unidentified person with injuries Sunday, February 5, 2017.

The incident took place on West Gulf Bank Road about 5 a.m.

It appears the vehicle occupied by the victim was headed east on West Gulf Bank when it careened off the road. The vehicle then crashed into tree in the median. The crash left the man pinned within the vehicle, but was able to be freed by responding rescue units. The injured man, whose identity had not been disclosed, was taken to a local hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.

The official investigation is currently underway, and authorities hope to learn more as it concludes.
