Gregory Quarles Killed in Accident in Montgomery, AL

Montgomery, AL -- A three-vehicle collision between two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle claimed the life of 48-year-old Gregory Quarles in the area of Montgomery, AL.

The incident took place on Interstate 85 about 8:30 p.m.

Officials say a Jeep Cherokee occupied by the deceased victim was struck near the Mitylene exit. The collision caused one of the semi-trucks and the Jeep to catch fire. The incident left Mr. Quarles killed at the scene of the collision. The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident. The cause of the incident is unclear.

Authorities are examining the details of the collision.
