Two Injured in Harris County, TX Accident on North Freeway

Harris County, TX -- A collision between a passenger car and a pickup truck left two unidentified people with injuries in the area of Harris County, TX Thursday, February 2, 2017.

The incident took place on the North Freeway about 11:30 p.m.

It appears a car was disabled in the center lane of the highway, when a second vehicle swerved in an attempt to avoid a collision. Within moments, a pickup truck failing to see the broken down vehicle, crashed into the rear of the disabled car. The occupant of the disabled vehicle, an unidentified male, sustained minor injuries. The pickup driver, whose identity has not been revealed, was last listed in critical condition.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it unfolds.
