Justin Jewell Killed, Randy Parson Hurt in Accident in Canton, OH

Canton, OH -- A suspected alcohol related crash in the area of Canton, OH took the life of 32-year-old Justin Jewell, and injured 58-year-old Randy Parson Thursday, February 2, 2017.

Officials say the incident took place on U.S. 30 in the area of Harrison Avenue about 1:30 a.m.

Mr. Jewell was driving a Chrysler Town & Country that collided with the box truck. Mr. Jewell was killed at the scene of the collision. Mr. Parson was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the collision is unclear.

Officials are investigating the incident in the hopes of determining a cause.
