Ramone Willis Killed, Bradley Sharp Injured in Terry, MS, Accident

Terry, MS -- January 29, 2017, Ramone Willis was killed, Bradley Sharp injured, following an accident in which their vehicles collided on the highway.

The Mississippi State Highway Patrol responded to the accident which occurred near the intersection of I-55 and Wynndale Road.

According to their investigations, 45-year-old Willis was driving a Chevy car northbound on I-55. For reasons that aren't clear, the vehicle lost control and swerved into the median barrier. After crashing, the car went back into northbound lanes and came to a halt. An oncoming Toyota driven by 24-year-old Sharp then crashed into the Chevy.

Following the wreck, EMS pronounced Willis dead at the scene of the accident. Sharp was transported to St. Dominic's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have yet to indicate what factors contributed to the accident. Their investigations are ongoing.
