A school bus carrying roughly 30 Roseville Middle School students home at around 3:00 p.m. The wreck occurred at the intersection of Groveland Street and 11 Mile Road.

According to police investigators, the woman and her 14-year-old granddaughter were driving southbound when they attempted to turn onto eastbound Groveland. For reasons unclear, the vehicle crossed paths with the bus, and they crashed. This collision forced both vehicles off-road and onto a nearby lawn.

Both the woman and the teenager were seriously injured. EMS transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Reports say that roughly 5 of the 30 students reported minor injuries, but it would appear none were taken to a hospital.
