Lindsay Cardinal Killed, Kevin Couch & Nicole Schmidt Injured in Alleged DUI Accident in Foley, MN

Foley, MN -- A suspected alcohol related incident in the area of Foley, MN left Lindsay Cardinal dead, and left Kevin Couch & Nicole Schmidt injured in the area of Foley, MN.

Officials say the collision took place on State Highway 23.

It appears Ms. Cardinal's vehicle was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by Mr. Couch. The report claims Mr. Couch's vehicle was driving erratically at excessive speeds prior to the deadly collision. Three of Ms. Cardinal's children were uninjured in the crash. Ms. Cardinal, however, did not survive the collision. Mr. Couch and a female passenger, Nicole Schmidt, were left with life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is unclear, but police say they believe intoxicants may have been a factor.

The media report provided no further information at the time of its release.

The official investigation is ongoing.
