Luis Reimundia Hernandez Killed, Howard Schwartz Injured in Accident in Orlando, FL

Orlando, FL -- A collision between two vehicles left 44-yaer-old Luis Reimundia Hernandez dead and injured 66-year-old Howard Schwartz in the area of Orlando, FL Wednesday, January 1, 2017.

Officials with the Florida Highway Patrol say the incident took place on Boggy Creek Rd. close to Wetherbee Rd, around 1 p.m.

It appears Mr. Hernandez was driving a truck loaded with rocks when it was struck head-on by a passenger vehicle. The truck reportedly veered off the roadway, flipped over, crushing the cab of the vehicle. Mr. Hernandez was killed at the scene of the incident.

66-year-old Howard Schwartz, the driver of the passenger vehicle, was hospitalized, and was last listed in serious condition.

According to the report, charges are probable related to the incident.
