Multi-Vehicle Accident Leaves One with Injuries on Interstate 35 in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- A five-vehicle incident left one person with undisclosed injuries in the area of San Antonio, TX Thursday, February 2, 2017.

The collision took place on Interstate 35 in the area of North New Braunfels Avenue.

It is unclear how many people were injured in the incident, but police have confirmed a Bexar County detention officer was hospitalized. The nature of their injury has not been disclosed, but the report claims their injuries were non-life threatening. The incident left a large portion of the interstate closed for several hours.

The cause of the incident is unclear.

The investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it moves forward.
