Pedro Alvarez Killed, One Hurt in Accident on US 90 in Iberia Parish, LA

Iberia Parish, LA -- A collision between two tractor-trailers car took the life of 54-year-old Pedro Alvarez and injured one in the area of Iberia Parish, LA Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

The incident took place on US Highway 90 about 11:30 a.m.

The report claims a truck was stopped in the westbound lanes when the second truck collided with it. The force of the impact forced the shifting load on the second truck into the cab of the vehicle. Mr. Alvarez, the driver of the second big rig, was killed at the scene of the incident. The driver of the first truck sustained minor injuries in the collision.
