4 Injured in McGregor, TX, Car Accident on Highway 84

McGregor, TX -- January 30, 2017, four people were injured due to an accident in which a car and a Jeep crashed on Highway 84.

Authorities from the McGregor Police Department were called to the accident scene, the intersection of Highway 84 and TX-317, in the late hours of Monday.

According to preliminary accident reports, A Jeep and a Pontiac, for reasons that have yet to be determined, collided near the intersection of the two highways. As a result of the collision, the Jeep overturned onto its side and trapped one of the occupants inside the vehicle.

That person had to be extracted by rescue teams before being transported to a hospital via helicopter. Three other people were also transported to nearby hospitals. Their conditions were not specified.

At this time, authorities have not released any additional details. Their investigations are ongoing.
