Luis Gutierrez Killed in Kleberg County, TX, Rollover Accident

Kleberg County, TX -- January 29, 2017, Luis Gutierrez was killed following an accident in which his vehicle overturned off the side of the highway.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, 35-year-old Gutierrez was traveling southbound on US Highway 77. The accident occurred in the morning hours of Sunday.

As Gutierrez was driving down the highway, his vehicle somehow lost control and went off the side of the road. There, the vehicle swerved and eventually overturned several times before eventually coming to a stop.

Due to the accident, Gutierrez was ejected from the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries, for which he was taken to Kleberg Spohn Hospital. He later died there.

Authorities have not suggested any factors at this time. Their investigations are ongoing.
