Darrion Pittman Dies in Dallas, TX, Single-Vehicle Accident

Dallas, TX -- January 28, 2017, Darrion Pittman suffered fatal injuries after an accident in which his vehicle crashed into a tree off-road.

Dallas Police officials reported on the fatal crash which occurred around 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of Ravenview Road and Seagoville Road.

According to their preliminary investigations, 34-year-old Pittman was driving a Chevy suburban down Ravenview at the time. For reasons unclear, the vehicle tipped over off the side of the roadway, and it began to flip over repeatedly. Pittman was ejected from the vehicle, striking several objects in the process.

Pittman suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Officials say he died at the scene. No other injuries occurred.

Authorities have yet to confirm what factors contributed to the crash. They say the incident is still under investigation.
