Man Injured in Work Accident at Port of Beaumont in Beaumont, TX

Beaumont, TX -- A work incident at the Port of Beaumont, TX left a man with injuries around 8 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017.

The report claims the man sustained injuries to his leg and hip when a helicopter wheel rolled over him. It appears the man was moving a piece of equipment when the incident happened. The injured man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Officials say the man was treated by a trauma surgeon. His condition remains unknown.

Officials are currently investigating the details of the incident.
