Houston, TX -- A house fire in Houston, TX claimed the life of Joseph Charles Saturday, January 28, 2017 near the 1100 block of Sol Street.

Fire officials say they arrived at the scene to find the house on Sol Street ablaze. The report claims the body of 80-year-old Charles Joseph was found on a sofa located in the living room. The cause of the deadly fire has not been determined. It is unclear if there were other occupants in the home at the time of the fire.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.
