Pamela Handlon, Izria Alvarez Injured in Accident in Odessa, TX

Odessa, TX -- A two-vehicle collision left 40-year-old Pamela Handlon & 18-year-old Izria Alvarez with injuries in the area of Odessa, TX Saturday, January 28, 2017.

It appears the vehicle occupied by the victim was headed north on Hillcrest Avenue when it collide with a vehicle eastbound on 8th Street. The driver of the second vehicle, Pamela Handlon, was left with minor injuries. Ms. Alvarez suffered life threatening injuries. She was last listed in fair condition. The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident. It is unknown if there are any charges pending.

Officials are examining the details of the crash in the hopes of determining what occurred.
