Shaun Briley Killed, One Hurt in Truck Accident in Moapa, NV

Moapa, NV -- A collision between a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler claimed the life of 41-year-old Shaun Briley in the area of Moapa, NV Monday, January 16, 2017.

The incident happened on U.S. Highway 93.

The report claims the two vehicles collided south of Route 168. The collision caused both vehicles to catch fire. The occupant of the pickup, 41-year-old Shaun Briley, was killed at the scene of the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer, whose identity remains unknown, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries. There was no mention of other injuries related to the collision.

The official investigation is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
