James Rodney Holt Killed in Accident in Bee Cave, TX

Bee Cave, TX -- An SUV vs. motorcycle collision claimed the life of 51-year-old James Rodney Holt in the area of Bee Cave, TX Saturday, January 28, 2017.

The collision took place on Texas 71 about 6 p.m.

It looks like the motorcycle, operated by Mr. Holt, was headed east when he turned onto Serene Hills Drive. Just then, a westbound SUV collided with the bike. Mr. Holt was taken to a nearby hospital, but was later declared dead. The report made no mention of other injuries related to the incident.

The official investigation is currently underway.

The preliminary press release provided no further information at the time of its release.
